I took this photos last night and this morning.
Miss Kitty has it rough. She sleeps in a recliner on a handmade blanket. When she's not snuggled on the recliner, she's laying across my legs, making my feet go to sleep in the process. She's a heavy cat but oh so beautiful. No wonder Romeo is so in love with her.

Life is tough when you're a pampered pet. I think in my next life, I want to come back as a cat.
Operative phrase there is "pampered pet" - I might be scrappy, but I don't think I'd last too long as a feral.
ReplyDeleteMiss Kitty is beautiful!
LOL.. thanks. She's well fed, as you can probably tell. Cat weighs anywhere from 13 to 15 pounds.
ReplyDeleteShe's a good girl and has gotten a lot more loving and cuddly in her old age.
I finally had to say goodbye just a few months ago to the cat I got while a Junior in college - and yep, I'm 43...she was 23 years old. She is sorely missed, but I was incredibly blessed to have her in my life so long. I don't think I could ever not have a cat...
ReplyDeleteKx59 is a cat person. I had a cat that lived for 16 years. That cat provided comfort to me during some of the worst times of my adult life. Losing him was awful and I still miss him to this day.
ReplyDeleteI had to put him down when his kidneys started to fail probably about 4 or 5 years ago. He was a sweet, cuddly boy while Miss Kitty has always been our aloof, touch-me-not girl.
Since Miss Kitty has aged, she's gotten to be a lot more sweet and she constantly wants to be close by. She was raised by our dog, Patch (the hermit crab herder) and cuddled with him all the time. I think that now that he's gone, she settles for the hubby and me to cuddle up to.
Whatever her reasons, I'm glad she's had a change in heart. Like you, I don't really see my hubby and me ever being without a cat.
