A (not so) Friendly Note to OccupyBird
Dear bird that has decided to roost in the Crape Myrtle under which I park every night,
If you don't stop shitting on my car, seeing as my shotgun might disturb the neighbors, I'm getting one of these:
That looks like it'd work just fine in my .22 Ithaca lever action saddle gun. My six covered and stealth ammo. It doesn't get much better than that. If the seals weren't dry rotted on my Sheridan 5mm pump pellet gun, I'd put two pumps on it and put a lead Phtooyee right through the deficator.
I've never tried them through a .22 lever, just a few semi's and single shots. They won't cycle a bolt, they don't feed well in a semi auto mag (like a Ruger 1022), but in my $50.00 Model 60, I can just pull the bolt and load a fresh one in the chamber. That lever ought to do the trick nicely. There's enough oomph behind it to kill a Texas field rat, but not much more.
Oooooh yeah. I'll bring the sling bow and cover your six.
ReplyDeleteI always knew I'd be able to depend on you in a crisis.
