Funny when you haven't used a set of muscles in years how you can feel sore when they're put to good use.
Yes, I'm a little sore from shooting yesterday. I'm not bruised which is a good sign that I didn't forget how to properly hold a rifle. (kidding) Actually, it's just like riding a bike only better.

Nope, it's not unheard of to be slightly sore after a day at the range shooting a rifle when you haven't done so in a while. All the more reason for you and your husband to go back to the range more often. Good times and good memories at the range to the both of you.
ReplyDeleteI'm actually going to the pistol range today. I don't own a pistol yet, however, I recently took a class to get familiar with them again. I've been firing different ones just to see what I want to buy for my first pistol.
ReplyDeleteI'm leaning toward either a Smith & Wesson .9mm M&P or I really like the Sprinfield XDM .9mm; however, the M&P has been recommended as a more reliable and durable firearm.
I'm glad to get back to the range whether I'm firing a rifle or a pistol.
Either of those pistol's will serve you well and I think highly of both. I tend to agree with you though in being more inclined to lean more towards the Springfield XDM. The important thing is to listen closely to what others may recommend but once you've done your homework and test fired the actual pistol then make your own decision. Its your money and time spent with the pistol you've selected in the end.
